What a wonderful find! On holiday in the area & saw this place on social media. Drove out for lunch today & so glad we did. A narrow road up to the top of a hill & it looks like the last place you’d find a gem of a café like this! The homemade lobster thermidor pie was absolutely delicious, the lobster was so fresh & tasty & the pastry deliciously light & flaky. It really was divine. Dog friendly too. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.- Meal type

A proper hidden gem. A fantastic location above the sea, with a great garden area to eat it. The proprietors are really friendly and welcoming. They happily talked us through the menu and were very accommodating. The seafood is the freshest I've ever eaten and it's amazing to know it was caught in the bay above where you are eating. I cannot wait to return.

We were recommended to try this caffi by a local couple who definitely know their stuff. Apparently the man catches the seafood and the lady cooks it into delicious pasties etc. We had the Lobster Thermidor pasty, which was delicious. While some may say £15 is expensive for that - you definitely get what you pay for. The ingredients are fresh and perfectly prepared. Moist and delicious with plenty of lobster. We then shared the coffee cake which was equally tasty and fresh. With two coffees this came to just over £20, which was very good value for the quality of food, service and surroundings. We will return!- Service

Our first visit here and we loved it. Splendid crab salad and fish pie. Top notch scone after. The team running this place are enthusiasts and by eating here you feel you're joining in! Don't miss the view from the end of the parking field.

We arrived when they were doing seafood demonstrations on how to prepare your lobster. Amazing tips! The food in the cafe was excellent! Great taste and well prepared and presented. If they offer the BBQ'd versions it would be even better as the flavour is so much stronger (1 of the tips we were given) Definitely worth a visit .... oh and the cakes.... just too good!

Absolutely gorgeous. A real gem of a find. We rarely eat seafood because it’s so hard to find local fish caught sustainably. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and very reasonable price. We had lunch, and drinks.plus bought some fish to take home. Would come again just to visit Top Cat caffi. Ace all round.

Brilliant place for an afternoon stop. Had a walk around the headland around Rhiw, then went for Lobster thermidor pie and the tiramisu, both were delicious. Stunning dining room and outdoor area, with equally stunning views. The food is all homemade and the owners were very affable, with nothing too much trouble! Would highly recommend.

Lovely site, with plenty of parking, could do with a few more tables to eat at. Crab salad was excellent, my wife had a pie and my son a sausage roll. Seating was nice, but it was busy.
